การถ่ายภาพเชิงชาติพันธุ์
ฉันเป็นนักมานุษยวิทยาที่เกษียณแล้ว ปัจจุบันอาศัยอยู่ที่ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของไทย การถ่ายภาพเป็นงานอดิเรกของฉัน นอกจากการปั่นจักรยาน ว่ายน้ำ ฝึกฝนการฝังเข็มหน้าท้อง และการนวด

Ethnographic photography
I am a retired anthropologist living in northeast Thailand. I enjoy photography as a hobby, next to cycling, swimming, and aplying abdomen acupuncture and massage.
Taking photos of people is what I do most. Through my photographs, I aim to preserve how people looked, what they did, and how they did it, at a specific moment in time..
I take photos at free festivals and events throughout Thailand, with a fondness for temple dancers at ancient ruins—especially when their costumes reflect the historical era of the location.
From time to time, I also photograph Asian tattoos, which interest me for their cultural meaning and symbolism.
Overall, my photography seeks to document traditions (customs passed down through generations), ways of life, and the ways people present themselves.
